Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the impact of building the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, or the so-called Millennium Dam, on Egyptian-Ethiopian relations. Legitimate construction of dams and reservoirs on the Nile River, and the problems and damages resulting from these projects and dikes to the basin countries, especially Egypt. The solution satisfies everyone, and this study concluded that with participation, cooperation and agreement on the duration of filling the dam based on goodwill and without harming others, there will be a benefit in sustainable development not only for Ethiopia and Egypt but for all countries of the Nile River Basin.
