Abstract

The idea of the research is based on a survey of the opinion of an intended sample, represented by 450 respondents from the Iraqi academic community from various Iraqi private and governmental universities in the fields of law and political science, including (29) questions. The study questions divide into (6) axes, which are as follows (the political contract, political experience, Iraqi society, the constitution, government authorities and the Iraqi mentality). The study reached conclusions, the most important of which is the need for a new political-social contract through broad national participation, and the dissatisfaction of the study sample with the performance of the Iraqi political elite.
