Abstract

This research addresses the legal responsibility of the President in Iraq according to the 2005  Constitution. It examines the constitutional provisions that define the powers and responsibilities of the President and the mechanisms for legal accountability. The study aims to shed light on the legal framework governing the President’s actions and identify legal gaps that may impact the effectiveness of the political system in Iraq. It focuses on analyzing the constitutional articles related to the political and legal responsibility of the President, as well as reviewing practical cases where these provisions have been applied.
