Abstract

The National Umma Party (NUP) is a political party founded in Sudan in 1943. It has played a prominent role in Sudanese political life over the decades. During the independence period, the party played a major role in shaping Sudanese politics and guiding the country towards democracy and economic development.

The party has undergone several transformations and developments over the years, and it has played a significant role in many political events in Sudan. The party adopts an Islamic approach and seeks to achieve social justice and comprehensive development for the country.
