Abstract

The research deals with the issue of the US military strategy towards East Asia during the term of Joseph Biden's presidency, which extends until 2025, in light of various factors, including the decline of US hegemony, the rise of influence and the data of Chinese power, and the increase in threats at the global level after the Russian war against Ukraine on the pretext of ensuring national security. The research concluded that threats will remain present in this region, and it is likely that the matter will escalate into a state of security instability, and that the Biden administration’s direction towards diplomatic means will be accompanied by an emphasis on military presence, support for alliances, and preparation for any potential conflict between China and Taiwan.
