Abstract

Despite the historical neighborhood relationship between Saudi Arabia and Yemen was based on the frequent conflict between them for almost a hundred years, it was punctuated by many positive aspects that were distorted by the corruption and conflict of the successive ruling regimes. Since the Convention Taef, the relationship between them has been based on domination of Saudi and the exploitation of contradictions that constantly exist, and the conflicting Yemeni parties over power and wealth before 2011 are the same forces that refused Yemen to move to a modern civil state. On the other hand, there has been no real effective opposition, neither inside nor outside Yemen, since the establishment of Yemeni unity in 1990. The future of Yemen, north, and south, depends on a set of ruling determinants related to the nature of negotiations between the conflicting political forces and finding a political settlement to ending the conflict.
